I ordered fried scallops and shrimp fried rice. The rice was pathetic yellow rice with a few shrimp sitting on top. And my “scallops” were CRAB MEAT!! I’m sure it’s IMITATION meat too! I eat enough seafood to see and taste the difference. And the “scallops” had more crab than the Crab Rangoon. Horrible experience. Definitely will not be ordering again!! Such a rip off 😒

I have been going to China Star for over 20 years now, which is an absolutely wild realization. General Tso’s lovers, I dare you to find any Chinese place in Springfield or beyond that serves better General Tso’s. I’ll wait. I don’t think you will find any better.

Omg taste so sucks…after couple days I come to give reviews. Beef very small and just a bit with small box. Sauce more than the meat!!!!!!! And we had abdomen pain with my husband and children. Please let real cooker from China make the real Chinese food for us!!

I think everyone knows what they will be getting from a place like this. Average food that is not cut into small enough pieces, bad fried rice, heated up frozen items, and maybe a little hair every once in a while. The owner drives a $80k BMW. Just think about that when you are looking at the food you got. Overall, it is OK. We have ordered probably close to 75 times total, but I am over them now and will seek out other options.

Worst customer service and order taking ever. When ordering let's say, Sesame Chicken. They say, OK 10 minutes. When you gio pick it up and pay for it, it's twice as expensive that is what is on the menu. …
